Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use rangroyale.com (and any Rang Royale app, once released) and play Rang Royale (“Rang Royale”, “we”, “us”), operated from Sydney, Australia. By creating an account or playing, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Rang Royale.

1. Who can play

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or play, and you confirm this when you sign up (or the first time you sign in with Google). We may close any account we reasonably believe belongs to someone under 18. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity on your account. One account per person.

2. RANG is a virtual item

RANG is a virtual in-game item that you can use only inside Rang Royale, for example for table entries.

  • RANG has no cash or monetary value and is not money or property.
  • RANG cannot be withdrawn, cashed out, transferred out of your account, sold, traded or redeemed for money, goods, services or anything of value, inside or outside the game.
  • RANG is free. You get it only by playing (free starting RANG for new accounts, daily free RANG, missions and match rewards); there is nothing to buy with real money.
  • Diamonds are a second in-app balance. Today you get them only by exchanging RANG in the app (1,000 RANG = 1 diamond), and you can spend them only on cosmetic card-back designs in the Card Market. The exchange is one way: diamonds can't be exchanged back into RANG, and like RANG they have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn, cashed out, transferred, sold or traded. Deck designs are cosmetic and never affect play.
  • We may change RANG amounts, rewards, entries and prices, and we may correct balances that are wrong because of an error or misuse.
  • You receive a limited licence to use RANG in the game. Unused RANG is forfeited if your account is closed.

3. No gambling or prizes

RANG and diamonds are free in-game items with no cash value. They can't be bought back, withdrawn, or exchanged for money or prizes. Rang Royale is a skill card game for entertainment.

Rang Royale is a game of skill played for fun. There is no real-money gambling and there are no prizes of real-world value. Nothing you earn in the game can be exchanged for money or anything of value.

4. Fair play

When you play, you agree not to:

  • cheat, collude with other players, share hands or use outside tools to gain an advantage;
  • exploit bugs or errors (please report them to us instead);
  • use scripts or automation to play, farm rewards or view ads;
  • create multiple accounts or share, sell or buy accounts;
  • harass or abuse other players, or use offensive display names;
  • interfere with the website, its security or other players’ enjoyment.

If not enough players are online, empty seats are filled by computer-controlled players.

5. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account, remove RANG or reset progress if we reasonably believe these terms have been broken. You can stop playing and delete your account at any time from the Account deletion page (linked at the bottom of your Profile), or by emailing rangroyale@gmail.com. Deleting your account removes your RANG and progress permanently.

6. Advertising

Rang Royale may show ads on some content pages (guides, history and FAQ). Ads are provided by third parties such as Google. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising cookies work and how to opt out of personalised ads.

7. Changes to the game and these terms

We may change, add or remove game features, modes and rewards, or stop offering the game. We may update these terms. The “last updated” date shows when they last changed, and continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated terms.

8. Liability

Rang Royale is provided “as is”. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for loss of data, progress or RANG, or for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
