This page explains how Rang Royale uses cookies and similar technologies, and how advertising on the site works. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include local storage and identifiers used by mobile browsers. They let a site remember information between visits, such as whether you are signed in.
Cookies we use
- Essential cookies keep you signed in, protect your account and remember security choices. The game cannot work without them.
- Preference storage remembers settings such as sound, and whether you have seen the guided tour.
- Analytics: we keep simple, first-party counts of page visits and game events to understand how the site is used and to fix problems. These are not used to show you ads.
Advertising
Rang Royale is free to play and is supported by advertising provided by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites, and to measure how ads perform. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to Rang Royale and other sites on the internet.
You can opt out of personalised advertising from Google by visiting Google's Ads Settings at adssettings.google.com. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, you will be asked for consent before personalised ads are shown, and you can change your choice at any time.
Where ads appear
We place ads only on the home page and our long-form content pages: the guides, the history of Rang and the FAQ. We never show ads during a match or on the card table, and never on the lobby, wallet, rooms, sign-in or sign-up pages, our legal pages, or in places where they could be mistaken for game controls. Ads are clearly separated from game content.
Ads and the game
Ads on Rang Royale do not change how the game works, and nothing you do with an ad affects the cards you are dealt or the result of a match.
Managing cookies
Most browsers let you view, block and delete cookies through their settings. Blocking essential cookies will stop you from signing in. Blocking advertising cookies means the ads you see will be less relevant, but will not stop you from playing.
